Jack completed his Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing before opening Halo with his business partner in December 2010. He continues to support the apprenticeship programme by teaching some enrichment classes and employing an apprentice in his business.
Jack said, “I chose the Buxton Campus because it was local and the facilities were fresh and modern – a perfect environment to get the experience I needed. I would recommend Buxton & Leek College to anyone wanting to start their career in hairdressing, because I know Buxton & Leek College has high standards I would like to give something back to other students who want to work in a salon. I am still in contact with my assessors and they are always there when I need further advice, despite no longer being a student – they really go above and beyond the teaching.”
