Students from our Sports course visited Warwickshire County Cricket Club, home of Birmingham Bears in January. In the same month, they also visited Warrington Wolves’ ground, the Halliwell Jones Stadium, to take part in a Rugby League Training Session where they practiced tackling.
They learned sports skills that they can use to support them on their course, as well as in their future career and had the opportunity to meet staff at the club to find out more about what it takes to run a commercial sports ground.
