In line with the government’s announced Bank Holiday on Monday 19th September for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Buxton & Leek College will be closed (except for some key services) to students and staff.
The sad death of the Queen marks the end of an era for the UK that has spanned 70 years and the living memory of most people.
In concert with the whole country, Buxton & Leek College is joining together in mourning to pay tribute to her Majesty for her duty and service representing the UK throughout the world. She has been a role model to everyone, personifying the British values that we take pride in championing through our approach to learning.
