There is a saying amongst first year students, currently enrolling at Buxton & Leek College, that they are learning in two of the best classrooms in the country. And who could argue, with the Buxton College campus based in the amazing 18th century Devonshire Dome, listed in the record books as the largest unsupported dome structure in Europe! Whilst the other state-of-the-art campus is set in the grounds of Leek’s iconic and inspiring Nicholson Institute.

“No only do we offer so much learning opportunities inside the college but we are also extremely well regarded for our apprenticeships, working with around 150 employers from across the North West.” Says Alex.
“Even the stately country estate Chatsworth House has signed up to recruit our students.”
Buxton & Leek College is now enrolling students right up to mid-October, and is proud to be part of the University of Derby – a Top 50 University in The Guardian University Guide 2017 – rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
This unique position within the University of Derby also offers students a seamless transition from Level 1 all the way through to University Level courses such as Foundation Degrees, Bachelor Degrees, Masters Degrees and PhDs.
All University Level courses at Buxton & Leek College are validated by the University of Derby and students are even invited to celebrate the completion of their qualifications at the University Graduation Ceremonies.
