We are extremely proud to announce that Rob Warman, Indoor Sports student at Buxton & Leek College, recently achieved the Highly Commended Award for Student Performer of the Year in the Association of Colleges Sports Awards.
First announced on the Association of Colleges’ Twitter account, they said:
“Rob Warman is a talented footballer who has shown great commitment and leadership qualities.”
Niall Webb, BLC Enrichment Officer, nominated Rob for the award. He said:
“I want to say a huge congratulations to Rob on his performances and attitude during this year. This is a nationally recognised award and Rob got highly commended which is absolutely fantastic news!
He massively deserves this and I couldn’t be prouder of him. Well done Rob and the Buxton and Leek college sports teams on a hugely successful year!”
