After the great success of the first Virtual fayre last summer, the apprenticeship team is happy to announce that we are back this year for a second run of competitions!
We are hosting a variety of family-friendly competitions which have been specially designed to showcase the talents of our brilliant apprentices – who have each come up with the ideas for the events and will be helping judge entries. All these competitions are completely free to enter for all ages, so we would love for you to take part and why not get your parents or friends to join in the fun too! We are looking forward to seeing what everyone is creating at home and hope you all have fun!
To enter any of the competitions below, please email your entry to feapprenticeships@blc.ac.uk including your Name, Age, and competition entry. You can also share your entries with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #BLCSummerFayre2021. Just make sure you include your Name, Age, and which competition you are entering in your posts (also please set your post to public or we may not be able to see them – feel free to direct message us to check we can see your entry!)
To make sure your entry is seen, please ensure it is sent via email as well as via hashtag on social media.
All entries will be separated and judged in the following age categories:
- Under 5
- 6 – 10 years
- 11 – 15 years
- 16+
All entrants will receive a digital Certificate of Entry. In our two younger categories, those awarded 1st 2nd and 3rd places will also receive their very own medal. For our older contestants, 1st place will also receive a digital certificate and medal.
