AWARD-winning barber Kieron Price will visit Buxton & Leek College this November – for a fundraising night for the Movember charity.
Kieron, who is past winner of a British Master Barber Award, will be showcasing his skills with demonstrations at the Leek Campus on Monday November 7. The salon doors will be open from 6pm until 9 pm for all those with an interest in barbering to network, purchase products, win prizes, including over £1,000 worth of products from Andis and learn from the barbershop manager himself.
Tickets, which cost £10 with £5 concessions for College students, are being sold in aid of Movember – the only charity dedicated to men’s health concerns.
During the evening, Kieron will talk about his own journey to being a successful barber and businessman as well as giving live demonstrations. Barbering Tutor and event organiser Sharon Baker said: “The event is a must for hairdressers, barbers, salon owners, trainees and all those with an interest in the industry. There will be a chance for guests to network with suppliers such as Squire and Pompadour as well as Near Cut, the online booking system and the Hair and Barber Council.”
