About Harpurs Bistro

Student-led and student focused to cultivate student passion. 

Established in January 2024 within the spectacular Devonshire Dome, Harpurs Bistro reconnects culinary students to the College’s past, High Peak Catering College which was based in Harpur Hill. 

Developing the head chefs of tomorrow is key to the Bistro’s success with students showcasing their high-quality skills. 

Under expert supervision every menu and every dish are handcrafted and served by passionate Level 2 and Level 3 culinary students as they begin their careers in hospitality.  

Using locally sourced ingredients, every meal is freshly prepared for each service, meaning that as students develop their understanding of quality produce and the landscape they’re working in, you can follow the journey of your food from field to fork.  

Dining with us helps our students to develop their skills in a real-world environment with the benefit of college support, and your feedback informs how they can keep making their service better and better!
