Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our team. Full training will be given by our Head Chef in this full-time position. All aspects of cheffing will be taught with a view to progression within the team.

Annual wage £11,778 a year

As skill level increases, the rate of pay will be reviewed.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

An average day will involve food preparation and food service. It will also involve checking deliveries, following recipes and adhering to health and safety of food.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Apprentices attend the Buxton Campus (transport is available) weekly. They will also be regularly visited in the workplace by their college instructor-mentor who will guide them through their apprenticeship.

The venue is not on a public transport route and is not easily accessible on foot. It will be necessary to have your own transport. Please consider this when applying.
