Hairdressing and Beauty students based in The Salon at Buxton & Leek College have raised £193.57 by carrying out pampering treatments alongside coffee and cake.
The fundraising event was part of Macmillan Cancer’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, where people all over the UK host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.
Operations Manager at The Salon, Amanda Garrington, said: “It was amazing to see the support that our students had from customers and staff. They were all really generous and we had a fantastic day raising money for such a good cause. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported.”
